Custom painted Dr. martens boots > Fourth pair.
I combined two passions of mine;
painting/designing & Doc Martens shoes !
It’s a long process to custom paint leather shoes.
Because one needs to keep in mind that the leather has to endure a lot when used.
So i used special leatherpaint after i thoroughly cleaned and sanded the leather.
On this shoe, among other brands of paint, i used some Jacquard Lumiére effect paint.
This particular Lumiére adds a beautiful golden effect to the leather,
but its hard to capture the effect in a picture,…
For instance; i also used the Lumiére on the petals of the ‘flowers’,
but in the pictures the petals seem mostly just orange,.
So keep that in mind when you look at the pictures!
This is the result of the fourth pair of Doc Martens that i upcycled:

er wordt een afbeelding gepost en het is de bedoeling dat de volgende persoon daar een verandering in aanbrengt, je hebt alle vrijheid, er is maar èèn spelregel nml dat er in de nieuwe afbeelding minstens iets gebruikt moet zijn uit het vorige plaatje.ik vind dit een machtig mooi spel en het past precies in mijn straatje, ik ben er dan ook, sinds ik het heb ontdekt, erg actief.en nou dacht ik dat ik die afbeeldingen net zo goed ook kon gebruiken voor mijn weblog ( 2 vliegen in een klap 😉 )dus bij deze de eerste voor en na afbeeldingen,
voor de duidelijkheid de eerste foto is van een wildvreemde ( heel de wereld doet mee !) en de tweede afbeelding is het resultaat van mijn wonderlijk vrij-associërende geest.

ik ben benieuwd of iemand van jullie ziet wat er van de oude in de nieuwe is verwerkt !? ( vast niet, want ik ben wel erg driftig geweest met vormveranderen) 😉
oja, en als ik dan toch lekker aan het typen ben nu ;
terwijl ik bezig was met het maken van het bovenstaande resultaat luisterde ik naar Ozark Henry & Maria Mena.=)
